Chocolate bounty bars

Mounds are the American version of bounty that we call in Britain. 

Homemade Chocolate Bounty bars are as close as real chocolate. You can easily make it at your home. 🏠 It only takes a few minutes to cook. If you love to eat coconut, then I assure you this bar suits best to you. It gives you sweet coconut filling and it is a very tasty recipe. I don't know about you guys, but I love making cakes and chocolate bars at home. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk or 250ml
  • ½ cup sugar or 100 gram
  • 1.5 cup dedicated coconut or 120 grams
  • 150 gram Morde milk compound chocolate

How to make:

Step:1

In a pan, pour ¾th cup of milk, then add ½ cup of sugar to it. Then mix it well. After mixing it for some time, pour the remaining ¼th cup of milk and mix it well for a few seconds after that add 1.5cup of desiccated coconut and mix it well. We need to cook it until it turns into the dough texture. In other words it needs to be cooked till the coconut soaked all the moisture from it and the coconut mixture looks like a dough. If you want you can cook it on the medium flame.

Step:2

So when it looks like it cooked well we need to transfer the mixture into the bowl and let it cool down for sometime. Now check if the mixture binds perfectly? If your answer is yes then Transfer it to a greased bowl and spread the mixture evenly with the help of spatula. Let it set in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step:3

For melting chocolates, boiled water in a pan, place a clean & dry bowl over a pan. Add 150 grams of Morde milk compound chocolate. After that stir the chocolate till it's melted. Keep stirring to avoid burning chocolate. When chocolate is melted, move the bowl from the heat.


Step:4

After 1 hour, the coconut mixture is ready. Let's take it out from the refrigerator and demold the mixture. Now slice it horizontally and again slice it vertically as shown in the image given below:-




Step:5

Now dip the bounty bars one by one in the melted chocolate and place it on the parchment paper. Give it a stroke with a butter knife to get a bounty look. Now refrigerate it for 1-2 hours. After 1-2 hours, your chocolate bars are ready.

You can store this chocolate bars in the refrigerator for one week, you can use it at children's birthday party as well as you can also use it for giving gifts on Raksha Bandhan to your brother.
