Chilli Paneer


Hello friends!!
Today I am going to share chilli paneer recipe with you all. This is a very tasty and delicious recipe. You can easily make it at your home 🏠 and I assure you after watching this recipe, you love to eat this dish at home rather than going to a restaurant.

So, here are the ingredients given below:
  • Paneer - 200gm

  • Cornflour - 2tbsp

  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp

  • Black pepper powder - ½tsp

  • Lemon juice - 1tbsp

  • Cornflour - ½tbsp

  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp

  • Green capsicum - ½ cup

  • Onion - ½ cup

  • Oil - 2tbsp

  • Green chilli - 1

  • Soya sauce - 1tbsp

  • Red chilli sauce - 1tsp

  • Tomato sauce - 1tbsp

  • Ginger garlic -1tsp

  • Vinegar - ½ tsp

  • Salt to taste

How to make:

Part - 1

Step:1 Take 200gm of paneer and cut it into small cubes. We need to mix the paneer with ginger-garlic paste, black pepper powder, lemon juice and salt to taste. Now kept this mixture aside for 20 minutes.

Step:2  For the coating, mix cornflour, oil and salt in a bowl. After that mix it well and by adding some water to the mixture make a thick batter. Now add the mixture of paneer cube to the batter and mix it very well.

Step:3 For frying the paneer, heat oil in a pan. When the oil is very hot add coated paneer in the oil and fry it on high flame until the paneer pieces turns to golden brown. After that remove the paneer.

If you want your paneer more crispy than you can fry the paneer for one more time. Now drain all the paneer cubes in a tissue paper so that all the extra oil removes from it.

Part - 2 (Sauce)

Step:4 Again heat a pan and add 2tbsp oil. Now add 1tsp ginger garlic pieces and saute it for 10 seconds then add onion, capsicum and green chilli and saute them well.

Tips: Do not overcook the onions and the capsicums. They need to have crunchy texture if you cook them too much, it won't taste good.

Step:5. After 2 to 3 minutes there after add soya sauce and tomato sauce and mix well.

Step:6  Then put some water and mix well and after that add vinegar, red chilli sauce and mix it well.

Step:7  Then, add fried paneer to the sauce and saute it well. There after add salt to taste and also add the cornflour slurry and some water and cook until the sauce thickens.

**Slurry sauce - for making slurry of cornflour add 1/2 tbsp of cornflour and a little amount of water. It is used for adding thickness in the sauce.**

Step:8 If you want more gravy then you should add more water to the sauce and mix it well.

Now garnish it with some spring green onions.

Serving Tips:

* Chilli paneer can serve as starters.

* It is also serve as side dish with your favourite Chinese noodles or fried rice.
